About Madison

Hi, I’m Madison—an artist at Black Velvet Tattoo. Originally from California, I made the move to Nebraska in 2018, ready for a fresh start and new opportunities.

Art has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my brother—who has autism—became one of my greatest inspirations. He taught me how to draw, and that moment sparked a passion in me that’s never faded. Now, as an adult, I get to express that creativity through multiple outlets, including drawing, makeup, and tattooing.

I don’t limit myself to just one style, but I especially love working in American traditional, black and grey, and fine line. What I enjoy most about tattooing is the connection I build with my clients and the opportunity to bring their ideas to life in a meaningful, permanent way.

Seeing someone light up when they look at their new tattoo is what truly drives me—it’s the most rewarding part of what I do and the reason I love this craft so much.
